1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use livecombatsports.com.au, our pay-per-view platform (ppv.livecombatsports.com.au) and our apps (together, our services). The services are run by LiveCombatSports Pty Ltd (ABN 75 676 011 091) of PO Box 571, Kyneton VIC 3444 ("we", "us"). By using our services or buying a pay-per-view (PPV), you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Accounts are for one person. Sharing logins or access is not allowed.
- If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to create an account or buy a PPV.
3. Buying a PPV
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
- Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.
- A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right to watch that event live and on replay, for the replay period shown for the event, on a supported device in a private, non-commercial setting.
- You need a reliable internet connection and a supported device and browser. Start times are listed in the event's local time and are a guide only.
4. Event changes and cancellations
Combat sports cards change. Bouts can be added, replaced or cancelled, and start times can move, often at short notice and outside our control (for example injury, failed weigh-ins, medical or regulatory decisions, or venue issues).
- Card or time changes: the PPV covers the event as broadcast. A change to the fight card or start time is not by itself a reason for a refund.
- Event cancelled before it is broadcast: you will receive a full refund.
- Event postponed: your purchase carries over to the new date. If you can't watch on the new date, text us within 24 hours of the postponement being announced to request a refund.
5. Refunds and your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure with our service, you are entitled to cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion, or compensation for its reduced value. If a failure is not major, you are entitled to have it fixed in a reasonable time, and if it is not, to a refund. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by a failure.
- Streaming problems on our side: if a fault with our stream stops you watching, text us within 24 hours of the end of the event or the problem. We will fix it, give you replay access or refund you, as the law requires.
- Change of mind: we don't give refunds if you simply change your mind, buy the wrong event or don't watch. This doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- How to ask: refund requests must be made by text message to 0411 557 744, within 24 hours of the end of the event or the problem, with the email address used to purchase, the event name and a short description of the issue. We will reply by text or email.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- show a PPV in a pub, club, gym, venue or any public or commercial place without our written licence;
- record, copy, rebroadcast, restream, screen-capture, upload or share any broadcast, in full or in part;
- share your login, or try to get around access controls, geo-restrictions or security;
- use our services unlawfully, or in a way that harms us, our promoters, fighters or other viewers.
If you breach this clause, we may suspend or close your account without refund, and we may take legal action.
7. Intellectual property
Broadcasts, graphics, logos, footage, text and other content on our services are owned by us, the event promoters or our licensors, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view them for your own personal use only.
8. Website information and links
We take care to keep information on our services accurate, but event details can change without notice. Links to other websites (for example promoters, ticketing or social media) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
9. Our liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any PPV is limited to supplying the service again or refunding the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on our website, with the date it was last updated. The terms in place when you buy a PPV apply to that purchase.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia.
